The illustration shows the life cycle of fly's genus drosophila. A fly lay eggs and after 2 hours a drosophila egg develops into a hollow cylinder of cells. Within about 5-8 hours segmentation appears and hollow cylinder of cells becomes an embryo. After another 5 hours the embryo continue to evolve and segmentation are shown more distinctly. The embryo develops into a larva that passes through three stages. So after 24 hours embryo turns to the first instar larva. After one more day it passes to the second instar larva. On the third day larva goes through all stages. Between 4-5 days it becomes a pupa. The pupa undergoes metamorphosis and after 4 days an adult emerges. The adult drosophila's body is divided into 3 parts, such as head, thorax and abdomen. On the head of the fly located antennae and eyes. Also, there are wings on the middle part of thorax and a haltere on the end of this part. Legs of drosophila are located on abdomen.
