The diagram demonstrates the various stages involved in the production of construction bricks.
As it can be observed, bricks manufacturing is a complex process which comprises of seven steps starting from digging stage and ending at the delivery stage.
The initial step in brick manufacturing is digging the clay by a digger machine. The collected clay is then passed through metal grid to grind it into refined form. the refined clay is filtered and processed in a roller machine and then mixed with sand and water. After that, the mixture is either placed into a mould for shaping or cut into a wire cutter to make the raw shape of the bricks.
The next step involves the drying out shaped bricks for 24-48 hours in drying oven followed by the transfer of these dried raw bricks into first kiln for heating whose temperature is moderate, 200 to 980 C. After this, they are heated in the second kiln under the high temperature from 870-1300C. Subsequently, in a cooling chamber, they are cooled for two to three days before they are packaged and delivered to the construction sites.
