Overall, there are ten stages in the process of water treatment commencing with a screening of intake water and culminating with the flow of water from a faucet. At the beginning, water from a reservoir is screened before entering for a treatment. Following that, a pumping machine is used to pump water to a flash mix where water is mixed with polyaluminium chloride and oxidants. Then, water flows towards a flocculations and subsequently to a settling basin. Small pebbles and other particles settle down whereas lucid water heads toward a chamber with chlorine. At the seventh stage, the water flows to a filter membrane through a narrow canal with valves from stage six. Then, water flows to the eighth chamber for disinfection with fluoride, chlorine and lime. Finally, a pumping machine pumps the disinfected water which flows through a faucet.
