The following diagram illustrates the procedure of recycling aluminum cans in UK. Overall, the process consists of seven stages beginning with used cans and ending up with the recycled cans. First of all, the used cans are taken out from the trash and is collected in trucks and is transported to the site. After that, the waste is cleaned followed by sorting, shredding and compressing each one of the cans which then completes the third stage of process. In the next stage, the cleaned material is sent to a chamber of heating and melting where it melts all the cans with suitable amount of temperature fitted. Following this, the melted material is prepared in a form of rolls with a thickness of 2. 5 mm to 6 mm. Subsequently, the product is recycled and is made into specific shapes of cans with a suitable logo and print. Next, the cans are readily used as they are 74% recycles in UK.
