The diagram depicts the lifespan of a salmon, from an egg to a mature fish.
Overall, it can be observed that there are eight stages during the process, which begins with laying eggs in water, and ends with becoming a fully-grown fish.
At the very beginning of of the process, a salmon lays a massive number of eggs on the surface of the river, and these eggs are incubated for a specific period of time. The step after this is the emergence, which a fish has a long tail, and does not have a normal apperance. Gradually, the fish grows quickly in size, and develops fully. Once the fish has been mature enough, they it moves to the rearing stage, with its body enlarges.
After that, the fish continues to migrate to rearing areas, and it transforms eventually into an aldult salmon. The final step of the cycle is when the aldult fish backs to the river, where is the spawning area to start a new process.
