You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The diagram below shows the development of cutting tools in the Stone Age. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 words. Writing Task 1

The diagrams show the development of two cutting tools used by people in the Stone Age. It illustrates three different angles of each tool which are front view, side view and back view. Tool A is relatively less sharper at the top and broader at the bottom. On the other hand, tool B is pointed on the top and has a wide base. The front view of tool A is like a cone. On the contrary, tool B looks like a broad bottle. The side view of tool A is more thicker. However, for tool B it was more thiner. The back view of tool A was like a triangle and the back view was like a water droplet. Tool A is of dark grey color. While the color of tool B was light grey. Hence, tool A was used 1. 4 million years ago. whereas, tool B was used for 0. 8 million year ago. The cutting tools used by the stone age people for both the years was of same size which was 5 cm.
