The given diagram shows the information about the plastic production as well as the disposal of it. As can be seen from the diagram, firstly cereal crops are harvested from the field and taken to a factory as a raw material. The glucose which is present in a cereal crops is taken out. These glucose then passes through Bacterial fermentation chamber in which the process of fermentation takes place and produces a type of plastic called PHB polymer. This PHB polymer can be used to form plastic bottles. These plastic bottles can be used to fill shampoo and detergents. Furthermore, there are three methods to dispose those plastic bottles which is already used. The first most effective way is recycling of those plastic bottles. The second way is to buried it in the landfill and the oxidation products from the landfill are released very slowly into the atmosphere. The third way is to burn or to biodegrades the bottles which releases the carbon dioxide into atmosphere. However, the carbon dioxode from atmosphere are used by cereal crops for their growth and thesr cereal crops are further used in the production of plastic. Overall, the diagram shows the cycle of plastic production step by step and its disposal in three different ways.
