The given diagram illustrates how hydroelectric stations generate electricity. Process of producing electricity takes several steps.
First water from river is accumulated in higher level Reservoir by using a dam as a wall. On watching vigilantly the water is process out from an arrow intake. This intake is schedule like 9 to 5 job of human being, which is open in day and closed at night.
After the previous stage is completed, the water then returns down connecting the intake and power station in helix structure. The connecting tube also has its significance, during day the flow of water is in forward direction on the other hand during night the water is pumped back to the high level reservoir.
The water has read the power station during day, it flows through a generator which is multi directional. The, the generator connect all turbine and power line which transferal the generated electricity to the national grid. During day water resources through the turbine and generates electricity and during night the water is sent back to the higher level reservoir.
