The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity.

The flow chart shows the way in which electricity is generated through heat power. It is a linear man-made process. Overall, there are 5 stages in the whole electricity-producing process, beginning with the collection of cold water and ending with the supply of electricity to the transformer.
