This process diagram illustrates the production of ethanol fuel from corn. To begin with, corn is the base ingredient used in ethanol production. Afterthat, It is stored in a place. The second step is milling it. In the third place, water is added along with cooking for 4 hours. The cooked corn undergoes the process of fermantation for two days. In the fifth step, the fermented corn is separated in to two parts. Firstly, liquid is obtained from the corn. Secondly, Solid by-product is seperated from the corn. Afterwards, the seperated liquid is move forward for purifying process and it takes upto 5 hours. The purified ethanol is stored in place for settling down. At last, Ethanol fuel is transported via different modes of transport. Overall, the process of manufacturing of ethanol fuel is completed in total 8 steps. Among which, the crucial steps are seperation of liquid and the purification of ethanol. Production of ethanol is a man made process.
