The pie chart compares the percentage of energy generated from Hydropower, oil, nuclear power, coal,
natural gas in a single nation between 1983 to 2003.
Overall, oil was the most popular source of energy in both years despite a slight decrease. The
proportion of coal using to make energy decrease stronger than that of oil whilst nuclear power, natural
gas was used more and the smallest proportion belonged to hydropower which was unchanged by 2003.
In 1983, the total energy was made by oil occupying 42% followed by that of coal with 23%. Over the
next two decades, the percentage of energy produced from oil went down 38% and there was a
stronger reduction by 10% in the figure for coal.
Conversely, nuclear power and natural gas generated 20% and 11 % in to the total of energy in 1983,
respectively. Over the next 20 years, nuclear power created 24% power, higher 4% compared to its
figure in 1983 and the figure for natural gas doubled to 21%, whereas hydropower remained stable at 4$
of energy manufactured in both years.
