Afterwards, it is cooked for four hours after the addition of. The next step appears to be the most time-consuming. Fermenting the cooked corn must take about fourty-eight hours before moving on to the separation process. The separation step, unlike other steps, branches, leading to two different products, a liquid and a solid. During separation, a solid by-product is extracted which leaves a liquid product for what remains of the ethanol production process. Before transporting the liquid, it must undergo the five-hour process of ethanol purification. It can then be stored a second time before being transported to the demanding party.
