The given diagram has illustrated the process of producing ethanol fuel from corn. It can be seemed that it takes 9 steps to produce ethanol fuel from corn and none of the steps can be skipped. We can devide the process into three period. For the first period, corns will be harvested and stored for a period of time. Then the corn will be milled into milled corn. It was not until the corn were milled that the second period begins. The next period begins with the cooking process. This process requires water and takes 4 hours to be completed. Then the corn will be fermented for 48 hours. Then the cooked and fermented corn will be separated into liquid and solid by-product. The process of producing ethanol only require the liquid product of the separating process. After the separating process, the liquid wil be purified into ethanol fuel. Five hours is the amount of time required for this process. After that, the product - ethanol corn will be stored and transported for use.
