The diagram below represents the “Comparison of how urban Chinese spent across major categories in 1995 versus the spending habits in 2011”. Summarise the information given in the diagrams. Write at least 150 words.

The information given in the two pie charts illustrates Urban Consumption of Chinese in two years i. e. 1995 and 2011. There are eight different categories for urban consumption. By comparing the pie charts, it can be seen that Food category has been consumed most in both the pie charts. Food accounted for half of the consumption in the year 1995 while Food accounted for 30 percent in the year 2011. Clothing has been the second most consumed category in both the years and Clothing in the year 1995 is a little more as compared to the year 2011. Residential category of both the years has been almost same. Recreation category is another category where the difference in both the years is very less but in the year 2011, it is slightly ahead. Transportation category has consumed more in the year 2011 and its way ahead of the consumption in the year 1995. Medicine category in the year 2011 is more and its more than double as compared to the year 1995. Consumption of Household facilites in boht the years is exactly same. Clothing consumption in the year 1995 is more as compared to the year 2011. The last category, Others has consumed the least in both the years but slightly more in the year 2011.
