Germany had the highest amount of income spent on both food and Other goods at a rate of 25% and approximately 18% respectively in the year 1998. In contrast, England had the lowest proportion of expense on both the goods at a value of 10% and just around 8% in the year 1998.
The country with the highest percentage of income spent on edibles items and various goods is France at a value of 40% for both the items in the year 2008. However, again England spent the least amount of money on both goods at a rate of 15% for food and 35% for other goods in the year 2008.
