The charts illustrates the percentage of students of U. K at a university in England, who were able to speak foreign languages rather than English in 2000 and 2010. Overall, mostly the students were able to speak Spanish rather than other languages in both years and the percentage of German speaker remained unchanged in both years. In 2000, Spanish was the most common language for the British students which was 30% overally. In contrast, German and other two languages were used by 10% graduates which remained least popular at that year. 15% of students were able to speak French and another language each and 20% of students were not able to use any other tounge. In 2010, with 35% Spanish speaker still remained at top surpassing all other languages. The British who can speak French, German or no any other languages were 10 percent each. 5% of increment was shown by the speaker of two other languages compared to 2000. In the same way, 20% of them were likely to speak another language.
