The charts compare the amount of water which was used for agriculture, industrial, domestic around the world in 20th century and water use in Brazil and Congo in 2000. Overall, it is clear from that there were upward trends in the amount of water which was used for three given sectors. Besides, the figure for water consumption in Brazil is higher than that of Congo. As can be seen from the graph, the water consumption saw the quick increase in all categories. Between 1900 and 1950, the water use in agriculture, industrial and domestic went up gradually. After that stage, there was a significant grow in the amonut of water use in agriculture to 3000 km3. In 2000, that of industrial rise ten time as much as the year 1950 form under 100 to above 1000 km3. The last category just rised minimally by nearly 500 km3. Looking at the table, firstly, the irrigated land of Brazil was 26, 500 km2 while that of Congo was 100km2. Secondly, the population of those contries was 176 and 5. 2 milion people. This is the reason why the water consumption rate every person at Brazil was eight time as much as Congo.
