As it can be observed clearly in the bar chart, teenagers in the 17-24-year-old group made up the highest figure in all years while in the pie chart, the proportion of students studying for overseas education occupied is the greatest in both years. Looking at the bar chart, in 2015, the number of students learning from 17 to 24 years old was about 9 thousand, the following were 25-34-year-old and over-35-year-old groups while kids between 13 and 16 years old stood at the lowest, which was approximately 1 thousand. From 2016 to 2018, the figure of learners between 27 to 24 grew significantly by nearly 25 thousand. Whereas the number of 13-16 kids increased steadily to about 10 thousand, both 25-34 and over 35 remained stable. In 2015, there were three purposes to study English, studying abroad consisted of 58%, the following were scholarship opportunities and immigration, which was 23% and 19% respectively. In comparison, there was 5 main aim for learning this language in 2018. The percentage of overseas education still made up the highest figure, 43%, while the lowest proportion is for school graduation, which occupied solely 6%.
