In the 20th century, the development of agricultural technology was very advanced. but there are still many people in other countries who experience hunger, especially in poor countries. Indonesia is an agricultural country, but still imports food from other countries. This is due to sevaral factor. One of the bigest factor that affect agricultural is extreme weather that often occurs. The rain that occurs continuosly will cause floading so that agricultural will be damaged. On the other side, drought is a serious problerm in food production. The dry land is almost imposible to grow the palnt. The dry soil also does not have enough nutrients for plants to grow. Another factor is expensive agriculture equipment. The farmer don’t have money to buy the modern farmer tolls. They use the traditonal equipment to farming. Besides that, they also buy fertilizer to plant and also buy the pesticide to destroy pests. Finally, the another problem is farmer is less desirable because it doesn't make much money and life is less secure. No one aspire to be a farmer they choose to become doctors, teachers, staff managers in companies and others. So that the number of farmers decreases sharply and affects agricultural yields.
