The infographic illustrates the popularity of different holiday activities according to British senior high school students in 2003. As is observed, there were more girls participating in the investigation than boys. In addition, the most frequent activities for the female students during the vacation were reading, shopping and resting while that of the male students was playing sports. With regard to the reading sector, there were 16 girls involved during the holiday entitlement, outnumbering that of boys. Likewise, the number of girls hanging out and buying products is 25, which is three times higher than the figure of boys. Similarly, while only more than 10 male students took a rest or slept during the holiday, there were approximately 30 girls doing these activities. On the contrary, boys played sports more vigorously than girls. This can be concluded from the given illustration showing that the number of boys taking part in physical activities is around 32, which is 4 times higher than that of girls. In remaining activities, namely self-education, gardening and watching movies, both male and female high-schoolers joined in quite equally.
