The diagram portrays the process of generating hydroelectric power.
Overall, there are eight stages in the process beginning with Sun heating the surface of the water and culminating in the distribution of the energy.
In the beginning, the light emitted by the Sun increases the temperature of the water. Heated water is then vaporized and form into moving clouds. Following this, the clouds start to move and fill up the dam’s reservoir by raining over it. When the reservoir is filled up the valve opens allowing the water to flow right in the direction of the turbine. After this, the turbine directs the torrent to the pump which returns the water back to the reservoir. This process is repeated several times prior to the turbine being able to send sufficient energy output to the high voltage cables.
In the subsequent stage, the high voltage cables send the energy to the transformer station. Finally, energy is distributed among the buildings receiving this energy such as schools, hospitals, and factories via the set of underground cables
