Overall, it can be observed that most of the regions are using majority of the water available for agricultural purposes which is followed by industrial purposes and at the bottom domestic purposes. A humongous percentage of water available is devoted towards agricultural activities in regions like Africa (84%), Central Asia (88%), South America (88%) and South East Asia (81%). On the other hand, the continent of Europe is utilizing around 53% of the total water available for industrial purposes followed by North America, where around 48% of the total water capacity is being utilized for industrial activities.
