The two following pie chart illustrates how house hold budget was spent by middle-class families in 2012 and 2015. In 2012, the house hold budget had an almost even distribution where as in 2015 majority of budget was spent on household which holds about half of the budget. In 2012, over 35 percent of the budget was spent on housing and 15 percent was spent on miscellaneous. For vacation/leisure it contributes a budget of 25 percent. Finally, for miscellaneous again 25 percent of the household budget is spent on it. In 2015, the budget was increased to 50 percent for housing. Also, for food/clothes the budget was marginally increased to 35 percent. For vacations/leisure the budget was reduced further to 10 percent. Lastly, for miscellaneous the budget was highly reduced to 5 percent. On the whole, In 2012, the percentages were more evenly distributed unlike in 2015 where half of the household budget was spent on housing.
