The bar chart illustrates how many hours the adolescents in Chester spent in doing certain activities per week from 2002 to 2007. Overall, the adolescents spent most of the time in watching television, whereas bowling was least preferred by them. Going to pubs, watching television and shopping showed gradual increase in the number of hours the teenagers spent over a period. And activities like homework, sports and bowling showed a decrease in hours except watching DVDs which is fluctuating. Most of the teenagers spent 25 hours in watching television in 2002 which reached a peak of over 35 hours by the final year. Both going to pubs and shopping more than doubled in hours from over 5 hours to over 15 hours, respectively. Teenagers occupied with homework dropped from over 10 hours in 2002 to over 7 hours by final year. Playing sports fell dramatically from 10 hours to 3 hours. Least occupied was bowling which was under 5 hours over a period and declined to over 2 hours. The number of hours the teenagers dedicated to watching DVDs was 10 hours in 2002 and 2007 which reached a peak over 15 hours in 2004 and 2005.
