The above two charts shows data about USA marriage and divorce rates between 1970 and 2000 as well as marital status of adults in two different years. Population of marriages and divorces are represented in millions units, While marital status is given in percentage. To begin with, Population of marriages and divorces in the USA, Marriage rates higher than divorces rate in almost all years. 2. 5 millions people were married in 1970 which remained same in 1980. Furthermore, No significant changes found during 1990(2. 2 millions). However, This value slightly decreased to 2 millions in 2000. The greatest rate of divorces is observed during 1980 as compare to rest years given. Nevertheless, Less fluctuationsseen in divorces rate which was maintained around 1 millions.
