It is clear that the majority of inhabitants are below 60 in both the countries, whereas, the number of elderly is predicted to rise by the year 2050.
In the year 2000, just over half of the population in Yemen aged is aged 14 or below and 46. 3% between 15 to 59, while 61. 6% people residing in Italy fall between 15 to 59 and only 14. 3% fall below 14 years. The elderly make up almost a quarter of the population in Italy(24. 1%), whereas, only 3. 6% have a share in Yemen.
It is, however, predicted that by year 2050, the percentage of people aged between 15-59 will decrease by almost 15% in Italy and increase by almost 10% in Yemen.
