The line chart demonstrates the jobless situation of the year 2012 in rural and urban areas of Australia. Units are mentioned in terms of percentage and quarters of the year on vertical and horizontal lines respectively. From the graph it can be observed that there is a gradual decrease of unemployment in the rural areas while it is gradually increased in urban areas apart from a slight fluctuation. looking more closely into the graph it can be noticed that inflation of jobs rose dramatically from 2-4 percent in urban areas till the second quarter whereas it fallen in rural areas from 7 to just below 5 percent. By the third quarter of the year unemployment fell drastically again to 2 percent in urban areas whilst it rose to above 5% in rural areas. Noticeably, by the end of 2012 inflation has been grown to approximately 5 percent in urban areas, however, it stayed constant in rural areas at 5 percent.
