The chart shows the sales at a small restaurant during the week of October 7-13. As can be seen, sales followed a fair pattern from Monday to Friday and then showed a notable shift on the weekends. Weekday lunch and dinner sales peaked on Friday, then dropped down on the weekend. Lunch sales during the week averaged approximately $2, 400. The highest lunch sales were on Wednesday at the amount of $2, 595, while the lowest lunch sales were on Sunday which were less approximately $1, 000 than Wednesday. For dinner sales, the sales during the week averaged approximately $4, 000. The highest sales were on Friday at the amount of $4, 350 and the lowest dinner sales were on Monday at $3, 623.
