The chart provides data on the percentage of spending on various categories in a European country. jVLEw
The chart provides data on the percentage of spending on various categories in a European country. Overall, this nation experienced a decidedly downward trend in all categories, except transport. Noticeably, the most dramatic change was seen in the proportion of expenditure on food. There were similar rates of decrease in spending on three items: clothing, leisure and fuel/energy. In detail, the expenditure percentage of clothing was about 10%, double that of fuel/energy but only half the figure for leisure. The figures for clothing, fuel/energy and leisure were all about half their previous figures, at roughly 5%, 2. 5% and 10% respectively. Initially, the percentage of expenditure in transport was just almost 10%, considerably lower than that of food, at about 35%. While the figure for transport increased slightly over the period, this country, however, witnessed a significant drop in the spending proportion of food. It resulted in the fact that, both categories had the same figures, at around 15%.
