The chart below shows what UK graduate and postgraduate students who did not go into full-time work did after leaving college in 2008

The given bar chart illustrates what the British students decided to do after graduating in the year 2008. According to the first graph, it shows 29, 665 students who decided to pursue their further studies. The number of graduates who were unable to get hired was 16, 235. In general, the number of graduate students who decide to do a part-time job was higher than those who preferred doing voluntary work. The figure stood at 17, 735 and 3, 500 respectively. On the second graph, it shows that many postgraduates students in the UK chose to further their study as their passion after graduating from university. The postgraduates slightly to have the same destination as the graduates took. Voluntary did not attract a lot of post-graduate students as it was only chosen by 345 postgraduate students. Also, the number of master's degree holders in the UK who pursue study was the highest standing at 2, 725 students. Overall, the majority of both graduate and post graduate students in the UK decided to continue their study and only a few of them from both groups chose to take voluntary work.
