The chart below shows what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.

The pie chart illustrates that there are five main destinations of graduates majored in Anthropology after getting their undergraduate degrees. The table compares the income of three different kinds of Anthropology graduates after 5 years’ work. It is clear that full-time work is the most common choice accounting for 52% of total Anthropology graduates’, which is more than other choices combined. Part-time work accounts for the second proportion(15%) of all career choices, while unemployed graduates make up 12% of all graduates’ destinations. Full-time postgraduates represent the same proportion(8%) of after graduation destination as not known do. Only 5% of Anthropology undergraduates choose to do a part-time job and pursue a postgraduate degree in the mean time. We can see from the table that Anthropology graduates working in private companies earn less than the other two occupations averagely. And most undergraduates earn more than $50000 after 5 years’ work. Half of the government sectors’ salaries are over $1000000, while 40% of freelance consultants’ salaries reach the same level. Besides, there are one fifth of both freelance consultants and government sector whose income is under $75000. Overall, working is the main choice for Anthropology graduates and many of them are paid well after 5 years’ work.
