The bar chart illustrates the four major stress reasons for Canadian between 25 and 75 and over, which are health issues, inadequate money, overwork, and no particular reason. Units are measured in the percentage of the related categories.
The youngest age group (25-54) mostly get stressed as a cause of overwork (25%), followed by lack of funds comes for the second (15%). No particular reason for stressing and worried about their health respectively account for 7% and 4%. In contrast, the greatest cause of stress in age 55-64 is for no particular reason (17%), while 15% still get stressed because of work. Money and health problems finally score for 10% of stress experienced in this group.
The same results occur in the age group 65-74, where 30% get stressed as a cause for no particular reason. 15% worried about their health problems, whereas only few people get stressed from working too much (3%). At last, the oldest age group mostly also stresses for no particular reason (32%) and their own health (23%). Not having enough money and overwork are not important stress factors anymore for them (both score less than 5%).
To sum up, most elderly Canadians get stressed without a particular reason and health issues. Whereas, the young Canadians get stressed dominantly for overwork. The least cause of stress is overwork for the elderly group, while health is not the main issue for the youngest age group.
