Writing Task 1
the value of one country’s exports in different categories during 2015 and 2016 were represented by using the bar chart, while the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015 were illustrated by using the table.
The bar chart for both 2015 and 2016 which represents the exports of 5 objects including textiles, engineered goods, gems and jewellery, agricultural products, and petroleum production. On top of that the problem also provides with an information of percentage change in values for all 5 objects within 2015 and 2016.
It can be inferred from the table that during 2016 shows us growth for export earnings of all objects except for Gems and jewellery, which were decreased over 5. 18%, therefore, the amount of export earnings of Gems and jewellery from 2016 were lower than 2015. On the other hand, all the other 4 objects increased when compared 2016 with 2015.
Besides, textiles were the one that increased the most comparing to other 3 objects that also increased. During 2015, it has the exports earnings in between 20 billions and 30 billions, while the 2016’s exports earnings has over 30 billions, so It increased over 15. 24%.
Next, Engineered goods can be observed from the graph that it’s the second most growth in percentage change in values. Over 8. 4% growth comparing from 2015 to 2016. During 2015 its export earnings has a value in between 50 billions and 60 billions, while the 2016’s one has more than 60 millions placing Engineered goods 2nd as the most growth in percentage change value.
Overall, we can see country’s export earnings has been doing excellent on exporting all 5 objects, 4 out of 5 objects showed us a percentage growth of more than 0. 5% when it’s compared from 2015 and 2016. However, the same can’t be said for Gems and jewellery, because it’s the only one that decreased in its percentage value when compared from 2015 to 2016.
