The chart below shows the total number of minutes (in billions) of telephone calls in the UK, divided into three categories, from 1995-2002

The bar chart shows some information about the combined time spent in billions of minutes, in three types of phone calls in the United Kingdom, from 1992 to 2002. Overall, the local fixed-line calls were the most popular from 1995 to 2000, the mobile calls and national calls, both of them were an increased trend. the speed of mobile calls although has increased faster. It is clear the minutes spent time on local calls were more popular; with just over 70 billion minutes in 1995, and the highest percentage between 1998 and1999 was almost 80 billion, and again it reached approximately 70- billion- minutes in 2002. National and international calls besides went up steadily year on year, from just under 40-billion-minute in 1995 to a peak of nearly 60- billion-minute in 2002. The mobile phone also started from the lowest value in 1995, which was under approximately 2 -billion-minutes and grew rapidly nearly 45 billion in 2002.
