The figure/ pie chart compares the percentage of visitors who came to four different tourist destinations in Britain in 1999. Overall, Museum/Galleries and Theme Parks received the most visitor’s attentions, at least two times higher than those of two remaining places. For the subplaces in Theme Park sector, Blackpool Pleasure Beach saw by far the highest proportion of visitors. It can be seen that there was only 9% of surveyed visitors came to Wildlife Parks & Zoo place, making it the lowest rate in the chart. Meanwhile, the two tourist destinations, Theme Parks and Museums/Galleries were the most visited, by 38% and 37%, respectively. The third largest number is the Historic Houses & Monuments (16%), which is nearly twice as larger as that of Wildlife Parks and Zoo place. Looking at the information of the Theme Parks in more detail, Blackpool Pleasure Beach welcomed 47% of people, followed by the Alton Towers, Pleasureland-southport, at 17% and 16%, correspondingly. The Legoland/ Windsor and Chessington World Adventure had the same percentages of visitors, 10 % for each.
