The bar chart provides information regarding gender of teachers in six types of educational institutions in UK in 2010. It shows what percentage Of teachers was females and what percentage was males. In the information provided in bar chart, it is clearly seen that in three of six types of educational institutions the rate of female teachers were higher than the percentage of male teachers. Women dominated in the teaching in primary education. The vast majority of teachers in nursery and primary school were female teachers. In the rate of secondary and upper education the differences were not so significant like in primary education. However in high-level education the percentage of male teachers were above the percentage of female teachers. Especially in University, where approximately 70% of teachers were male. In general, the higher the level of education the more male teachers appear. And in the contrast the percentage of female teachers is more in lower level of education.
