Overall, the percentage of household in rented accommodation is highest in 1918 (more than 75%) and lowest in 2001 (slightly more than 30%). On the other hand owned accommodation has highest household in 2001 (slightly less than 70%) and lowest in 1918 (more than 20%). Both the accommodation has similar household percentage in 1971 (50%). The household in rented accommodation has started declining from 1918 to 2001. As in 1918 household was around 78% and in 2001 it was around 31%. It has decreased by 47% and increased by 2% in 2011. In 1918, the owned accommodation started increasing from 22% to 69% in 2001. It has increased by 47% and decreased by 6% in 2011.
