The chart below shows the percentage of households in owned and rented accommodation in England and Wales between 1918 and 2011

The column indicates that distinct live conditions with households in owned accommodation and households in rented accommodation in England and Wales between 1918 and 2011. According to the data, both live conditions have opposite tendency from 1918 and 2011. Households in owned accommodation had gradually declined and only last decade had slightly grow from 2001. Households in rented accommodation had modestly rose except during 2001 and 2011 because it had moderately dropped. To the iniate with household in rented accommodation, in 1918, majority of household live in rented house, which reached the peak of about 77% and then it remained the same number of approximately 67% between 1939 and 1953. In the following, it had dramatically dipped by around 10% in each decade from 1916 to 2001. In the last ten yeas between 2001 and 2011, it had slightly rose from about 31% to around 35%. In contrast, household in owned accommodation had sharply surge from around 23% to 69% during the 81 years between 1918 and 2001. For the remaining period of last decade in 2001 and 2011 had modestly came down by only approximately 5%.
