The bar chart gives information about the proportion of people who use the internet in five age categories between 2003 and 2006. Overall, it is clear that the highest percentages of using internet were owned by adults aged 16-24, while older people aged 65 and over had the lowest point over the period given. In the years 2003 and 2004, four-fifth of adults had connection to the internet and that number peaked at 100 percent in 2005. Following this, the percentage of internet users among adults declined to about 90 percent in 2006. The figure for the group, who was 25-44 years old, experienced a gradual increase from 45 percent in 2003 to 80 percent in 2006. There were similar decrease among the people aged 45-54, rising from 60 percent in 2003 to 80 percent in 2006. The number of users who was 55 – 64, witnessed minor fluctuations by around 30 percent in the years 2003, 2004 and 2005, yet reached 45 percent in 2006. The last group of net users had lowest position with under a fifth over the four-year schedule given.
