The bar chart contains solid information about various mode of transportation used by children to commute to and from their school for a country. This data was collected in two different years with the gap of 10 years. Overall, it is visible that in past, the trips done by the students were more than in 2010. In 2010, the use all other modes of transportation reduced except car. Due to less purchase power and lack of equipment for travel, walking was the preferable option to attend the school and return to home in 1990 but after improvement in life of people, the trend was changed to use the passenger car for schooling purpose. The use of car almost doubled while the walking activity for travel purpose decreased to nearly half as it was in 1990. Reduction in walking directly influenced mix use of bus and walking in 2010 but there was minimal fall in the usage of bus to reach to school and travel back from that place.
