The bar graph illustrates the count of school travel made by children aged 5 to 12 in 1990 and 2010 with various transport modes such as car, walking, cycling, bus and walking with bus travel. In 1990, the major trend of transportation is walking. On the other hand, in 2010 car became the popular transport among children. In 2010, car became the preferred mode of transportation is about 11 million, in which in 1990 only 4. 5 million so drastic change is evident. 1990 is the year were kids mostly walked to schools which is around 12. 5 million while it declined to half in 2010. Cycling and walking in combination with bus travel is almost same during 1990 which is about 6 million. However, the trend was decreased in 2010 by almost half. Bus travel only has a small change compared to 1990 and 2010. To conclude, majority kids walked to school in 1990 was changed to car transportation in 2010 which was a dramatic change.
