The bar chart illustrates the number of men and women are studying their further education either full time/part time in Britan in three distinct years. Overall, the number of men and women studying full time outnumbered those studying full time. There is an successive increase margin in both men and women who are studying fulltime. The male who are studying part time have fluctuations, where as female have an increase trend. In regards to part time education, the male students started in the year 1970/71 was approximately 1million, being higher than full time education. It dropped approximately 150 thousands enrollement in the year 190/81 and making a slight recovery of about 900 thousand students in the year 1990/1991. In constract, the females started initially at about 775 thousands in 1970/71. the figure shows a gradual increase of about 100 thousands in year 1980/81 reached to a hit rate of about 1100 thousand in 1990/91. The trend for fulltime education is slightly different, females started lower in 1970/71 under 100, 000 students which climbed to around 200, 000 in 1990/91. Males engaged around 100, 000 in 1970/71 and gradually increased and becomes doubled in 1990/91 which is same as females enrolled.
