Overall, handheld games expreinced an upward trend while console entertainment showed a downward trend throughout the period.
To begin with, the number of handheld games was accounted for around eleven dollars billions in the first year(2000). Also, the games rate increased from $13 to $14 in the year 2003. Despite the games had similar ratio in the following two year(2004 and 2005) approximately $15 billions. At the end of period, the rates increased rapidly around $17 billions in the nations.
However, in terms of console games, at the beginning of the period, the rate was just below $6 billions whereas the sales of games were decreased gradually at the end of the period.
