The column chart provides details of the difference between the percentage of males and females in different stages of post-school qualifications in the year 1999 in Australia. Firstly, the percentage of skilled vocational diploma was significantly higher among males than the percentage of females, about 90%. However, in undergraduate diploma, the women were dominant over men about 70% while men's percentage was slightly lower, between 30% and 40%. According to the chart, we can easily say that the percentage of female was slightly higher than the proportion of males, in bachelors degree, the difference of 5% between them. Secondly, men ranked first in Masters degree whereas the percentage of women was lower about 60% and 40%. Also in postgraduate diploma statistic of males was considerably higher than females' by about 40%. Overall, men had the highest share in three qualifications, while women ranked only two.
