The line graph illustrates the number of consumption in five types of meat from 2001 to 2011 in Spain. Overall, it is clearly seen that beef was the most popular meat at the beginning of the period. However, veal and goat showed relatively stable trends throughout the whole period. In detail, Spain people most consumed beef which was just over 700 grams per person and a week. However, between 2001 and 2007, the figure declined to less than 400 grams. Duck consumption was just below 500 grams in 2001, it dropped by about 100 grams until 2007. Consumption of chicken showed similar trends with duck meat in 2001, it climbed sharply to around 800 grams. Furthermore, pork consumption increased to just over 500 from 300 grams during 6-year period. On the other hand, people who live in Spain consumed veal and goat both similar amount per week, which was 200 grams and 100 grams in 2001, after 6 years later, both decreased to under 200 grams. After 2007, chicken consumption keep increased to 900 grams but pork consumption remained stable. Consumption of beef climbed to just below 500 grams in 2011. Lastly, consumption of goat and veal showed relatively stable trends over the period. The consumption of these meats was 100 grams and 200grams each and this two proportion is the same amount with 2001.
