It's clear that burglary rates are of the highest number of crime taken place compared to the other two until the 2006, while robberies seem to be the least happend crime by the offenders over the entire time frame.
In 2003, the number of burglaries were reported the most at about 3400 times and only a year after, people pf Newport city were attacked by burglarers more than 3750 times, which was the highest number of incidents reported through the whole 9-year period. Between 2006-2007, the figure for the car theft overtook the burglary and rose to 2800 approximately.
From 2004, the figure for the burglary rates saw a drastic decrease by 2600 times and after a sparse to 1400 by 2009, it continued to occur yet stable over the next 3-years. Meanwhile, the robbery rates didn't change much and only a sparse fluctuation was seen which didn't pass the 500-800 robberies from 2003 to 2012.
