The given chart shows inconsistent changes of average delay time at airports in four American cities. Each of the airports follows its own pattern. Dallas airport shows the tendency of the shortest delays, spiking in 2001-2005 up to 27-28 minutes on average. The delay time in Dallas shortens steadily afterwards down to around 6 minutes in 2011-2015. Making the numbers of the cities with the least delay time at airports, San Francisco has a pattern similar to the one of Dallas. However, instead of decreasing the delay time had been growing from 1996-2000 showing around 7 minutes on average till the period of 2006-2010 with around 28 minutes of delay. Chicago and New York are the cities with the greatest delay time out of the four given cities. On one hand, Chicago rather varies from year to yeah hitting its peak of over 30 minutes in 1996-2000 then plummeting to a bit over 10 minutes in 2007-2010. On the other, New York statistics keep high throughout the years within 28-37 minutes margins.
