The bar graph illustrates the contribution of IT and Service sector in the GDP of UK from the year 1992 to 2000. It is measured in percentages. Overall, it is crystal clear that the GDP of both the sector has increased gradually but IT remained at a higher rate throughout the year. To begin with, the IT Service sector accounted for nearly 4%. Where as the IT exceeded this with over 6% in initial year. Besides the next 4 years, the proportion of GDP of IT and service are noticebly grow at 8% and 6%. Although, In the 1996, IT sector was slightly decrease. However, the Service industry has surged at rate of 7%. Moreover, IT industry has quiet sharply to 12% in the 1998 and then picked roughly 15% in the last year.
