The pie chart illustrates the employment rate in Canada with distribution of families and children the period of 1976 and 2014. The dual-earner couple has 20% increase in 2014 when comparing to 1976 which accounts 33 percentage, in sharp contrast to that the single salary given by men has declined 3 times in the year 2014 while in 19th century it demonstrates 51%. However, single income earned by matriarch has augmented over 3 percentage in 2014, however couples who have no income for their family has decreased 2 % in 2014, it should be commendable, moreover it indicates only 3% of whole rate. When coming to male and female lone parents, in 1976, the male lone parents has the least amount, but it has increased to 4% in 2014, Similarly female lone parents has a significant increase in 2014 while in 1976 the earnings was 8%, and in 2014 the lone is double that 1976.
