The chart shows that the uses of electrical appliances are rising rapidly among people since 1920 whereas people in 2019 are spending less time doing household chores than they did in 1920. It shows us a contrast picture between using electrical appliances and spending time doing housework. From the first chart we can see that, refrigerator is the highest used product among people since 1920. After 60 years refrigerator became the first product to reach every households. And more surprisingly from the begining till now, demand for refrigerator never slow doen just for once. Although in 1920 washing machine and vacuum cleaner had almost the same numbers of users, the situation changed completely since 1960. From 1960, more people started to use vacuum cleaner and so only after 40 years vacuum cleaner was the highest product to get used by all people. Though the want for washing machine was diminishing, it slowly cope up with the situation since 1980. And since 2000 the need for washing machine is increasing not rapidly but slowly. The second chart shows that in 1920 people used to spend 50 hours per week doing their housework, but the picture in 2019 is totally different. In 2019, 10 hours is being spent by people. It clearly shows that dependence on electrical products has slowed down peoples household activities.
